Job Title: General Laborer 1st Shift 5am-1:30pmJob DescriptionThis role focuses on performing quality inspections on door hardware components produced by automated machinery. You carefully examine parts, count quantities, and accurately document inspection results to ensure products meet established standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual quality inspections on door hardware pieces produced by machines to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use basic measuring tools, including a tape measure, to verify dimensions and specifications of parts.
- Count parts accurately and record quantities in production or inspection logs.
- Document inspection findings clearly and completely, following established procedures.
- Identify defective or nonconforming parts and separate them from acceptable product.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and inspection activities.
- Work effectively in a production environment, following safety guidelines and company policies.
- Sit or stand for extended periods while inspecting, counting, and documenting parts as required by the workflow.
Essential Skills
- Experience performing general labor tasks in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately for basic measurements.
- Proficiency in visual quality control, including identifying defects and inconsistencies.
- Capability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail for counting parts and documenting inspection results.
- Basic documentation skills to record inspection outcomes and quantities clearly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a production worker or in an inspection role.
- Comfort working around automated machinery and production equipment.
- Reliability and consistency in following established quality procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
