Production Manager | Metal Stamping
Were looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a high-volume metal stamping operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing teams, solving production challenges, and driving improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput.
What Youll Do
- Lead and develop production teams across a fast-paced stamping operation.
- Oversee daily production, labor, equipment, tooling, and priorities.
- Partner with Maintenance, Tool & Die, Quality, and Engineering to solve production issues.
- Drive Lean, 5S, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide hands-on support with dies, presses, tooling, and process troubleshooting.
- Improve performance while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
What Were Looking For
- 10+ years of metal stamping experience.
- Proven production leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of presses, dies, tooling, and automated equipment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
