Job Description
- Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning.
- Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
- Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)Competencies- Organizational skills- Communication skills- Basic - Computer skills- Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to work independentlyOther Information- Valid driver's license, where required- Required education or equivalent must be completed within a specified timeframe- Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation- If no qualified applicants unqualified applicants may be considered- Food Safe certificate, where required- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives- No guaranteed hours.
- Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period.
