Location: 100% remote (must reside and be legally entitled to work in Canada)
Schedule: Monday? Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week (MST Time zone)
Rate: $90/hr Inc.
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Platform & Apps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise business applications, automations, and AI-powered agents. The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio. This individual will combine strong low-code/no-code expertise with hands-on software development and Azure integration capabilities.
This is a senior technical role requiring someone who can lead solution architecture, establish development standards, oversee application lifecycle management (ALM), and help advance the organization's adoption of AI-enabled business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Development
- Lead requirements gathering and technical design sessions with business stakeholders.
- Develop canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Pages sites, and other Power Platform solutions.
- Design and manage Dataverse data models.
- Build Power Automate cloud flows with appropriate error handling, retry policies, and authentication.
- Determine when to leverage low-code capabilities versus custom development.
2. Custom Development & Integrations
- Develop Dataverse plug-ins and custom APIs using C#.
- Build PCF components using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs.
