Main duties of the job As a Residential Care Manager at Avery Healthcare, your primary role will be to manage a team of Care Supervisors at Beaconsfield Heights Care Home. You will ensure the high-quality delivery of personal care to residents, act as an advocate for their well-being, and maintain their best interests. Key responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, supporting team development, managing equipment storage, ensuring compliance with safe medication management, and conducting quality care spot checks. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent, and a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care. Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and experience in leading a team in a similar care environment is required. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring thata high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents,maintainingthe best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate and reflected in each individual care plan. Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers. Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstructionsand is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse. Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures. UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.
