POSITION SUMMARY
Barton Malow Company is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our team on a mission critical, hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia, PA. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, supervising and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities. The Sr. Project Engineer acts as a liaison with architects, engineers and owners regarding project progress and changes, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
- Manage all project document control.
- Process submittals and RFIs.
- Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
- Maintain the project schedule.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
- Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on the jobsite.
- Receive, review and evaluate contractor quotations for changes, and process change orders.
- Manage the plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
- 2+ years of documented mission critical experience on hyperscale data center projects, from inception to completion.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience or related construction internship experience.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and self-directed in problem-solving.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to safety.
