Based at both The Deeping Practice and Glinton Surgery

Senior Practice Nurse, Practice Manager

The Deepings practice has a large team of clinical and non-clinical staff lead by seven partners and a full senior management team. Main duties of the job

Role Overview: As a Bank Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing team with additional hours as and when required. The primary responsibilities will involve working in the ophthalmic clinic and ophthalmic theatre, providing dedicated expertise and ensuring adherence to all training protocols related to the ophthalmic service. Additionally, you may be tasked with other general practice nurse duties, depending on the practice's needs and your experience. Provide dedicated expertise and support to the ophthalmic clinic and ophthalmic theatre. This includes reviewing and assessing cataract patients, undertaking biometry, and undertaking duties as a registered scrub practitioner in the operating theatre.

Performing duties by following established protocols and guidelines.

Stay updated on all training requirements related to ophthalmic nursing practice.

Provide other nursing duties as necessary and as relevant to role.

Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
