Location: ZAF - Durban, Quarry Park Close Job Posting Title: Freight Forwarder - 132325 Time Type: Full Time Computer Literacy - Intermediate Job-related requirements - 3-4 years freight forwarding & clearing experience, sound knowledge of the import clearing process, Cargo wise knowledge will be advantageous Job Description - The control & monitoring of clients import shipment through the import / customs process until cargo is delivered. will be required to pass landing orders & visit clients with commercial teams
Duties & Responsibilities
- must be able to work long hours when required ability to work within time constraint and make own decisions punctuality and time management skills are essential to this position ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision ability to communicate effectively on all levels ability to meet targets & deadlines paying attention to detail & dealing with errors promptly own reliable transportation to & from work dealing with both internal & external clients / service providers ability to build relationships with clients ability to resolve queries from the clients ability to control the operations process with reference to your clients shipments administrative duties, checking documents are accurate before sending for clearing operating paperless responding to queries within the time prescribed running dashboard from our operating system either Tango or Cargo Wise keeping clients updated via status reports / what app groups work with back-office team to make sure we achieve the client requirements ability to resolve vendor queries timeously dealing with customs / border police stop & OGA departments DSV – Global transport and logistics What moves you?
