Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to maintain direct engagement with stakeholders across multiple markets, ensuring processes are executed efficiently and with a high standard of quality while providing effective support to business needs. This is a local position based in Panama City, Panama. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas and relocation for this position.
What you will do
As an Accounting Associate RtR you will: Drive and monitor various closing activities for reporting in line with the Standard Accounting Timetable and internal procedures (Reporting according to IFRS, creating accruals, general ledger entries, handling of fixed assets accounting for all the cluster North, Central & South America). Reconciliation and follow up of balance sheet accounts. Be proactive and anticipate delays and issues, close relationship with Panama & North, Central and South American markets along with group financial control in Switzerland.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, controls, and reporting structures to improve the speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness of financial management reporting. Contribute to maintaining a high standard of financial compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence.
