About this role

Job summary Job Summary We are looking for an organised, proactive and motivated HR Support Team Leader to join our Admin Support Team on a 9-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover. This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy and evolving service within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with a particular focus on supporting the administrative delivery of the Trust-wide staff flu vaccination campaign and wider workforce wellbeing initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across Human Resources and Occupational Health, you will play an important role in helping deliver an efficient, responsive and high-quality service to staff across the Trust.

This role would suit someone with strong administrative and leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating workloads, improving processes and supporting teams to deliver excellent service standards. As part of one of the UKs largest NHS Trusts, this post also offers valuable experience within People Function and the opportunity to build relationships and develop skills across a large and supportive organisation.

Main duties of the job Why you should join our Team The Admin Support Team is a friendly, supportive and collaborative team that plays an important role in supporting services across the Trust. Working within a fast-paced environment, the team provides high-quality administrative support across a range of HR and workforce functions, helping services run efficiently while supporting staff wellbeing and organisational priorities. This role will work closely alongside colleagues supporting Occupational Health and wider workforce initiatives, including the Trust-wide staff flu vaccination programme, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to work that has a direct impact on staff health and wellbeing across the organisation.

What you will bring to the role We are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and able to work confidently within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring excellent administrative and communication skills, alongside the ability to coordinate workloads and support a small team to deliver a high-quality service.

Key attributes and experience include:
