Job Description
Leads a team responsible for the roadmap, administration, service quality, standards, vendor performance, and maker enablement of one or more enterprise AI platforms. The role balances user needs, governance and security requirements, capacity, cost, reliability, service measures, and team development while remaining a hands-on technical contributor. The manager partners with Engineering and Technology Operations on production delivery while preserving their ownership of production build, deployment, run, incident response, and specialized remediation.
- Own assigned AI platform product and service roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, lifecycle plans, service definitions, and measurable outcomes.
- Translate enterprise and user needs into platform capabilities, administration practices, approved patterns, documentation, integration priorities, and enablement plans.
- Establish and oversee tenant, environment, access, provisioning, configuration, model-access, policy-control, capacity, usage, cost, and lifecycle-administration practices.
- Define and monitor measures for service quality, responsiveness, adoption, cost, capacity, reliability, vendor performance, user experience, and compliance with approved standards.
- Lead vendor relationships and evaluate roadmap changes, licensing, consumption, emerging capabilities, technical dependencies, portability, supportability, and enterprise fit.
- Maintain service-catalog entries, onboarding pathways, reusable patterns, knowledge resources, office hours, and maker-enablement mechanisms.
- Coordinate architecture, integrations, changes, releases, testing, escalations, communications, and operational handoffs with Governance, Security, Privacy, Engineering, and Technology Operations.
- Recruit, coach, manage, and develop platform team members and personally configure, prototype, troubleshoot, evaluate, or validate platform capabilities within approved boundaries.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
