Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Marketplace Attendant, you’re not just providing service in our grab-and-go shop – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
The ideal candidate will have"
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong English communication skills with guests, team members, and management, both in person and over the phone, with professional phone etiquette.
- Previous experience in customer service is a PLUS!
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Delight our guests: Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience
- Prepare snacks and beverages: Make specialty coffee drinks, warm food items, and assist with the preparation and presentation of pastries and other pre-made food options
- Manage store inventory: Replenish and organize market shelves, rotate merchandise, and ensure the display is neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing
- Drive retail sales: Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitability
- Process transactions with care: Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
- Maintain a clean and inviting space: Keep the market area, service counters, and equipment clean and tidy
