Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet/bar while ensuring guests are served and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager.
Primary Tasks
- 1. You will greet guests and explain all special promotions.
- 2. Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.
- 3. Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
- 4. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.
- 5. You will deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.
- 6. Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
- 7. Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.
- 8. Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
- 9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned
Job Requirements
- Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
- Read write and understand simple instructions
- 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires basic math skills
