Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you'll work 8-hour shifts, including weekends. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility according to standard operating procedures. You'll carry out cleaning tasks as per worksheet instructions, understand different cleaning requirements for surfaces, and treat residents with dignity and respect. You should exhibit qualities such as compassion, dedication, and a commitment to high-quality service. Experience in public cleaning settings and knowledge of Health and Safety, including COSHH assessments, are essential. Flexibility to cover duties at short notice is also expected.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..
