In a data centre, power, cooling and fire protection are the product. As Project Manager MEP you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. You will provide technical and managerial leadership to deliver on time, within budget and to the highest performance, safety and compliance standards.DAMAC Digital is building the backbone of the AI-driven economy. What youâll be doing
- Leading execution of all MEP works, with execution plans, schedules and budgets aligned to the overall project plan.
- Reviewing and approving MEP designs, shop drawings and technical submittals with design consultants, and driving interface management across MEP, civil and structural disciplines.
- Validating integration of MEP systems with power, cooling, fire protection and BMS.
- Working with Procurement and Commercial on sourcing, vendor technical compliance, variations, claims and cost forecasting.
- Overseeing MEP quality plans and managing testing and commissioning programmes through to handover and operational readiness.
- Overseeing the Project Management Consultant (PMC), enforcing HSE standards and leading and mentoring the MEP team of engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
What youâll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- 10+ years managing MEP works on large-scale commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
- Proven experience in MEP coordination, design review and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of international standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, etc.).
- Solid commercial awareness and familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract forms.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CEng or LEED.
