About the Role
As a Project Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of project portfolios through accurate reporting, forecasting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing month-end reporting activities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Monitoring project costs, profitability and financial performance
- Investigating and resolving cost allocation and work order issues
- Supporting billing processes and cash collection activities
- Providing timely financial reporting and commercial insights to stakeholders
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies and internal controls
- Partnering with operational leaders to support informed decision-making
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards)
- Experience in a Project Accountant, Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong SAP and ARIBA experience
- Solid understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and financial modelling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
