Job Description
We are looking for Entry-Level Data Center Technicians to support construction and cabling work inside a large data center environment in Sandston, VA.Previous data center or cabling experience is not required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who have experience working in construction or other hands-on environments and are interested in getting into the data center industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pulling, routing, and installing cabling throughout the data center.
- Support installation of cable pathways, racks, supports, and other infrastructure.
- Run and organize cables through designated pathways.
- Use basic hand and power tools to complete installation work.
- Assist experienced technicians with cabling and construction-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow site safety requirements and construction procedures.
- Work around other trades in an active construction and data center environment.
- Perform physical work including lifting, carrying materials, climbing ladders, and working on your feet throughout the day.
Qualifications
- No previous data center experience required.
- Construction or other hands-on work experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical construction work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working from ladders and around active construction.
- Reliable transportation to the Sandston, VA area.
- Willingness to learn cabling and data center infrastructure.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
