Job Title: General Laborer - Warehouse16 OPENINGS STARTING Tuesday Nov. 10thMust be open to working 2nd shift 3-11 OR 3rd shift 11-7WIll be working M-F, 40 hours a weekJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic warehouse team in the packaging division, where you will operate equipment to pour, weigh, and seal sugars into packaging. This role requires stacking bags on pallets, making it a physically engaging job. These positions are direct hires, with the season running until March, and an opportunity to return in August for the next season.
Responsibilities
- Operate consumer packaging equipment at a set rate.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all finished products meet customer requirements.
- Complete necessary documentation required for all operations.
- Package consumer bags into customer boxes at a rate of 35 bags per minute.
- Operate and perform all tasks on sugar bundling equipment effectively.
- Stack finished product on pallets within machine cycle rates.
- Demonstrate good communication skills by reporting problems to the team leader or other team members for resolution.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently during shifts.
- Experience in production work, warehouse work, or manual labor/outdoor work.
- WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A DRUG TEST AND CHECK
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- General labor experience.
- Experience in machine operation, packing, packaging, loading, farm work, milking, production work, or construction.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bay City, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43388.00 - $43388.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.insurance
