What You'll Be Doing
MIG welding on heavy-gauge carbon steel components Reading blueprints and fabrication drawings Fitting, assembling, and welding structural trailer components Working alongside a skilled team on custom trailer builds Performing quality inspections and ensuring weld integrity Utilizing fabrication tools, tape measures, and layout equipmentWeld Test Requirements
🔹 2G Open Root Horizontal MIG Weld Test🔹 D-Groove Horizontal Weld🔹 Flux Core Welding (Flat & Vertical Positions)🔹 .052 Wire🔹 Must pass Visual Inspection & Bend TestWhat We're Looking For
At least 6 months of MIG welding experience Experience welding carbon steel Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Fabrication and fit-up experience preferred Flux core, stainless, or TIG welding experience is a plusWhy This Opportunity Stands Out

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gatesville, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.29 - $26.37/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
