$25-$35/hr with WEEKLY pay Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers to support the construction and completion of several fitness facilities in the Pittsburgh area. This position involves installing, testing, and commissioning complete plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, gas piping, fixtures, and specialty equipment. Candidates should have experience working on commercial projects and be proficient with PVC, CPVC, PEX, and black iron piping systems. We are looking for plumbers to commit to projects lasting 9 months to a year.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic water distribution systems utilizing CPVC and PEX piping.
• Install sanitary sewer and waste piping systems using PVC materials.
• Perform underground sewer line installation according to project specifications and local code requirements.
• Install and insulate water lines throughout the facility.
• Install, connect, and commission tankless water heaters.
• Fabricate, install, and test natural gas piping systems utilizing black iron pipe and MegaPress fittings.
• Install plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, faucets, floor drains, and related components.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plumbing schematics.
• Coordinate installations with other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and operational testing of plumbing systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all OSHA safety standards and local plumbing codes.
• Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PVC sewer systems, CPVC piping, PEX piping systems, and black iron gas piping.
• Experience with MegaPress fittings, fixture installation, and trim-out work.
• Ability to install tankless water heaters.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of commercial plumbing codes and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and standard plumbing hand tools required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
