Job DescriptionThis full-time position is for a senior-level Residential Service HVAC Technician who diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and optimizes residential heating and cooling systems. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality service for homeowners by combining strong technical expertise with exceptional customer care. You will work on a variety of residential HVAC equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation and providing homeowners with clear guidance on system performance and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues in residential homes using industry-standard testing and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and related residential HVAC equipment.
- Perform advanced system troubleshooting to identify root causes of performance issues and implement effective solutions.
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and longevity.
- Recommend repair and replacement options based on system condition, efficiency, safety, and homeowner needs.
- Educate homeowners on proper system operation, routine maintenance requirements, and energy efficiency opportunities.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and customer documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and internal service protocols.
- Mentor and support less-experienced technicians by providing technical guidance, coaching, and best practices in the field.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality workmanship.
- Use personal hand and power tools safely and effectively during service, repair, and installation tasks.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC repair, installation, and system optimization.
- Proficiency in servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and other residential HVAC components.
- Ability to perform advanced HVAC troubleshooting using testing and diagnostic tools.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Experience as a residential HVAC service technician or journeyman HVAC professional.

Work EnvironmentThis role is field-based, serving residential customers in Pennsylvania, including homes in and around areas where new facilities and projects are being constructed. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
