Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Participate in projects, including installation of fixtures and piping.

• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction and plumbing.
• Skilled labor in underground plumbing, mechanical, piping, plumb, and installation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior plumbing or construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Work EnvironmentWork locations include Norfolk, VB, and Chesapeake, both indoors and outdoors. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm, with occasional Saturdays. Expect to work rain or shine.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
