Key Responsibilities
Overall purpose: Ensure successful project implementation across DSC Thailand, particularly complex and high-risk projects, while strengthening project management capability.
- Project planning and delivery: Lead project planning and coordinate operational and functional teams using the DePICT® methodology.
- Project governance and risk management: Conduct project stage reviews, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Scope, budget and resource control: Manage project scope, budgets and resources, ensuring scope changes are documented and approved.
- Issue resolution and change management: Resolve complex issues, manage change, and escalate matters that cannot be resolved within the project team.
- Stakeholder communication and reporting: Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide accurate, timely project status reports.
- Coaching and team leadership: Coach Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to strengthen implementation capability and lead project teams towards successful delivery.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of working experience, with a proven track record in complex logistics project implementation and logistics operations management.
- Education: A degree is required; the document does not specify the level or field of study.
- Project expertise: Strong business-process knowledge, detailed project planning, resource management, and the ability to lead project stage reviews, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Leadership and coaching: Ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams, manage conflict, and coach Senior Project Managers / Project Managers.
- Communication: Business English, excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills for reporting to senior management, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and negotiation: Ability to resolve complex, high-risk issues, influence others, and align stakeholders with different objectives.
- Quality and personal attributes: Strong risk management, document management, and change-control skills; self-motivation, reliability, confidence, and appropriate assertiveness. Regulatory compliance experience may be required.
