DHL Supply Chain is looking for an experienced and dynamic Transport Business Development Manager to join our team in Hungary. In this role, you will play a key part in developing transport sales, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and explore new business opportunities in the transport sector.
- Scan market, apply market intelligence, identify and contact prospective customers and build relationships to generate future sales.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP) from potential customers.
- Present solution to customer demonstrating clear business value, engage in negotiations and close the deal.
- Develop and negotiate contracts, ensuring integration with business operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Prepare internal and external presentations and reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve knowledge and skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience of dealing with customers at a senior level.
- Master’s degree in Economics, Logistics, Management, or a related field.
- Fluent English and native Hungarian language skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Driving licence
