Job summary You will be a visible and influential leader, shaping how inclusive culture is lived and experienced across NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT). Leading our Inclusive Culture Team, you will set clear direction, mobilise change and deliver ambitious, long-term programmes that help everyone at NHSBT feel they belong and can thrive. Working closely with senior leaders, staff networks, trade unions and external partners, you will turn insight and evidence into practical action. Your work will directly support our purpose of saving and improving lives by ensuring inclusion sits at the heart of decision-making, culture and performance across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
Lead the Inclusive Culture Team, setting clear direction, priorities and standards.Develop and deliver organisation-wide inclusive culture roadmaps aligned to NHSBTs strategy.Oversee large, complex culture change programmes, ensuring delivery to time and impact.Build strong relationships with senior leaders, staff networks, trade unions and external partners.Champion inclusion across NHSBT, acting as a credible and visible senior leader.Oversee statutory and organisational inclusion reporting, including WRES, WDES and pay gap reporting.Use robust evidence, insight and analysis to inform decisions and drive improvement.Lead the development and review of inclusive policies and practice.Manage budgets and resources to maximise value and impact.Coach, support and develop your team to deliver high-quality, meaningful work.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as diversity and inclusion. Postgraduate leadership and management qualification or equivalent senior-level experience. Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
Experience Essential
Significant senior leadership experience delivering inclusive culture or organisational change. Proven track record of leading complex, organisation-wide programmes. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organisational levels. Experience of using evidence, insight and analysis to drive improvement. Experience managing people, budgets and resources in a complex environment.
