ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home.
Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you'll work closely with a team to ensure all cleanliness and laundry standards are maintained in the care home. Your key responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions and understanding the cleaning requirements for different surfaces and coverings. You will ensure that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Additionally, you'll ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect. This role requires knowledge in Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting and the ability to adapt to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice are essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..
