Requirements
- Previous application support experience.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting 20 or more Windows workstations in a busy business environment.
- Experience installing, configuring, administering, and supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of network cabling and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft SQL and Reporting Services, and mobile device management tools such as AirWatch or SOTI is desirable.
- The ability to understand and write SQL queries is desirable.
- An HNC or higher in a computer-related discipline, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certification or higher, is desirable.
- Customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Logical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and mediation.
- Well organised and able to work unsupervised to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Record, respond to, and resolve colleagues IT issues professionally and promptly.
- Support and administer our bespoke line-of-business system, Zeus, including customising reports and performing bulk data uploads.
- Support Office 365 and SharePoint Online, and assist colleagues with Excel formulas and Power Automate.
- Write simple SQL queries to update data and extract management information.
- Contribute to projects to improve our IT systems and infrastructure.
- Carry out user and mailbox administration.
- Manage the distribution of mobile phones and associated hardware.
- Maintain hardware and software asset lists and databases.
- Configure, install, and maintain PCs, printers, and other IT equipment.

We are seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our IT Service Desk team, providing first- and second-line support in a predominantly Microsoft environment. The role focuses on application support, including our bespoke Zeus system, and also covers IT and telecoms. The role spans grades G1–G4 depending on experience, support tier, and autonomy, from first-line service-desk support through established first- and second-line support to senior support for complex issues and mentoring.

Pay is £30,000–£35,000 per year.
