Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Understanding of software development principles and relational databases
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Placement, internship, or project experience in software development
- Manufacturing industry knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications
- Write and test code using technologies such as C#, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Visual FoxPro
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Participate in code reviews and testing activities
- Produce technical documentation and user guides
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Support continuous improvement and system development projects
- Following training, participate in an out-of-hours support rota
