Salary: £60,000 - 70,001 per year
Requirements
- At least three years experience in a Security Manager or similar information security role
- Strong cyber security governance, risk and compliance knowledge, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and data protection
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, vulnerability management and SIEM tools
- Clear written communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
- Permanent right to work in the UK and ability to meet the roles DBS clearance requirement
- Desirable certifications include CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer and ITIL
Responsibilities
- Maintain security compliance programmes covering PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, Cyber Essentials Plus and IT Health Checks
- Deliver security risk assessments, internal audits and control reviews, and keep our organisational risk register current
- Support our business continuity and resilience activities, incident investigations and security improvement initiatives
- Coordinate vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and remediation follow-up
- Provide security input to projects, ensuring policies, regulatory obligations and contractual requirements are considered
- Run security awareness and phishing simulation activities, maintaining auditable training records
- Work with stakeholders in the UK and Europe and oversee annual third-party security audits for our European operations

We are an established technology business seeking a Security Manager to oversee information security governance, risk, compliance and operational resilience across our UK and European activities. The role combines practical cyber security assurance, stakeholder engagement and coordination of internal and external reviews. It is a hybrid position based in Yorkshire, with regular travel to a second UK location and occasional travel across the UK and Europe. The salary is £60,000–£70,000 per annum.
