Salary: £90,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#, .NET and Azure
- Experience designing scalable, data-intensive systems
- Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Exposure to Python and data engineering
- Experience leading technical decisions and using AI coding agents
- Experience with AWS, streaming data or machine learning is a bonus
- Suitable background may include Principal or Staff Engineer, Technical Architect, or an experienced Lead or Senior Developer ready to step up
Responsibilities
- Own the platform architecture and make key technical decisions
- Lead and mentor a team of backend and data engineers
- Build a new platform from the ground up
- Help shape how we build modern software using AI
- Tackle challenges involving large-scale data, distributed systems and real-time processing
