Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience in an IT, MIS, DevOps or technical systems role
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft-based systems
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualification in IT, Computing or Business Administration (desirable)
- Experience with Jira (desirable)
- Satisfactory vetting, including a right to work check and, where relevant, an enhanced DBS, PVG (Scotland) or EWC (Wales) check
Responsibilities
- Support key applications, databases, MIS systems and integrations
- Provide technical support for applications and systems, including incident handling, upgrades, patching and fault resolution
- Build, maintain and optimise databases using tools such as SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Support IT projects, including development work on data systems
- Keep systems, code, configurations and technical processes properly documented

This is an ASAP-start contract role based in North London with a further education provider. Youll join its IT team and help deliver, develop and improve DevOps services, systems and IT projects, supporting reliable systems for staff and students across teaching, learning and day-to-day operations.
