Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst implementing software applications in large organisations of 2,000 or more employees.
- Strong project management experience.
- Experience working in technical teams or demonstrated technical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of application deployment in an ITIL environment.
- Eligibility to apply for British government SC security clearance, including at least five years of recent, full-time UK residency and meeting the stated clearance conditions.
- Ability to commute to or relocate to York, YO32 9WN.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and assist with bid work.
- Act as a key client contact and manage client communications.
- Lead project discovery, gather client requirements, and map and design processes.
- Create data models and define development themes, epics, and stories.
- Develop and continuously manage project plans, RAID logs, reporting, and development backlogs.
- Organise and run client workshops, demonstrations, and project review calls.
- Create test scripts and manage client testing sessions.
- Manage releases into change-controlled environments.
- Potentially deliver small-group training sessions.

We are Flowmotion, a software development consultancy based at Monks Cross in York, specialising in creating and implementing applications on an enterprise-class app development platform. Our clients have primarily been central government and public-sector organisations, and we are expanding our work with large private-sector organisations. This adaptable, technical consulting role involves varied projects and regular learning; you may manage two or three projects at a time. We provide training on our platform and on-the-job guidance on technical concepts and processes. The position is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, and based on-site at our York office. Salary is £60,000–£65,000 per year, with casual dress, private dental insurance, and private medical insurance.
