Requirements
- Strong programme and portfolio management experience, particularly in Defence, Security or highly regulated governance environments
- Proven experience delivering technical (IT) and business-wide change projects
- Ability to understand and translate technical (IT) requirements and deliver them as part of a project, working with internal technical consultancy
- Executive stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at all levels
- Experience with commercial and contract management
- Experience with supplier management
- Strategic planning and organisational alignment experience
- Experience managing project finances, including budget ownership and cost control
- Strong project management skills, with PRINCE2 Practitioner, AMP PMQ, MSP Practitioner or equivalent
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary delivery team
- Applicants must meet at least the Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and track detailed project plans, schedules and budgets in line with project requirements
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, customers and partners, providing clear, regular reporting
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, local resources, suppliers and partner organisations to support on-time integrated delivery and project outcomes
- Work with stakeholders, resources and third-party assurance bodies to meet evidential requirements for successful project delivery
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate changes to work processes where required
- Ensure the project meets Kirintec departmental project management methodologies, governance requirements and standards
- Manage the successful delivery of a complex, high-value, strategically significant project from initiation through operational handover
- Act as the interface between internal stakeholders, including Technical Consultation, Business Analysis, Governance and Compliance, Commercial, and Executive Leadership

This is a 12-month fixed-term Contract IT Project Manager role with Kirintec in Ross-on-Wye, paying £70,000 per year for 37.5 hours per week. We specialise in designing and producing technology solutions for Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities, Counter-IED and Counter-UAS, delivering capabilities worldwide.
