Requirements
- Engineering degree or a closely related discipline
- Relevant supportability engineering experience in a highly regulated industry
- Understanding of hardware, software, firmware, data, and network infrastructure in integrated solutions and environments for Defence products
- Understanding of systems engineering principles
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist input on software and cyber-related topics and contribute to programme IPS Element Plans
- Define software maintenance concepts
- Create software support requirements and ensure their integration into system design
- Support the development of Software Support Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) activities
- Assess software obsolescence and the need for technology refresh
- Prepare Software Maintenance Analysis Reports, Software Support Analysis Reports, and Software Support Case Reports
- Lead a small, experienced, and collaborative team
