About this role

Location: Brunel University of London, Uxbridge Campus

From our founding in 1966, Brunel University of London has developed into a comprehensive technical university with a strong international presence. Our 14,000 students come from over 120 countries, and our staff are equally diverse. Being ranked 7th in the world for our international outlook is not only a result of our diverse staff and student body, but also our international collaborations and globally recognised research.

Over the past two decades, Brunel has developed a significant and expanding portfolio of TNE activities. The Global Engagement Office (GEO) are now recruiting a Head of TNE Strategy to support both the development of new TNE partnerships and ongoing management of Brunel’s TNE.

Working with senior leaders, academic colleagues, and international partners, you will oversee partnership governance, business planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic development activities across a range of global collaborations. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and sustainability of Brunel’s international activities.

You will work in a busy but welcoming, diverse team with colleagues working across a wide range of areas. We are looking for a candidate that is highly organised, proactive and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of activities and deliver results in complex international and regulatory environments.

Experience of working in an international higher education environment is essential, including the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and with those for whom English may not be their first language.

We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.

Closing date for applications: Sunday 22nd November

Interviews will take place in-person on w/c 14th December
