This role provides an opportunity to partner closely with product and technology leaders, lead and develop Scrum Masters, and use delivery insights to improve execution at scale.
What You’ll Do
As the Release Train Engineer, you will serve as a senior servant leader, lead coach, and trusted advisor for the Agile Release Train. You will maintain a strong understanding of train health, help leaders and teams recognize emerging delivery concerns, and actively drive complex problems toward resolution. You will balance hands-on delivery leadership with coaching that builds capable, accountable, and increasingly self-managing teams.

- Partner with product and technology leaders as a trusted advisor to strengthen planning, evaluate trade-offs, and improve delivery outcomes.
- Serve as the lead coach and escalation point for Scrum Masters, elevating their performance and helping them strengthen team ownership, execution, and problem-solving.
- Maintain a strong understanding of train health by proactively identifying delivery risks, dependencies, impediments, bottlenecks, and emerging concerns.
- Drive complex delivery problems toward resolution, engaging the appropriate teams and leaders while establishing clear ownership and follow-through.
- Use delivery measures, stakeholder feedback, and operational signals to communicate forward-looking insights, support informed decisions, and initiate course correction.
- Improve the flow of value by strengthening coordination, reducing avoidable wait states, and addressing cross-team constraints.
- Promote quality, continuous learning, and experimentation, helping teams turn insights into measurable improvements.
- Develop and apply future-ready skills that improve delivery, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making.
