About this role
- Perform sampling and testing of incoming raw materials as per approved specifications and SOPs.
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV and FTIR, wherever applicable.
- Perform wet analysis, titrations and other routine laboratory tests.
- Review and verify analytical data, test results and laboratory records.
- Ensure proper documentation of raw material testing as per GLP, GMP and data integrity requirements.
- Prepare and maintain raw material analysis reports and laboratory records.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Follow laboratory safety practices and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Support investigation of Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results.
- Coordinate with QA and Stores departments for raw material sampling, testing and release.
- Ensure compliance with IP, BP, USP and other applicable pharmacopoeial standards.
