Summary The Sales Planning Manager for LATAM is responsible for developing detailed sales execution plans to support annual sales, volume, and margin goals across assigned Food Service channels. This role supports key markets including Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, as well as additional markets across the region. This position also provides managerial oversight for the Sales Planning and Pricing Analyst in LATAM. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Demand Planning, and other cross-functional teams to ensure Sales has the strategic planning support needed to meet customer objectives and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop strategic business plans that enable execution against annual sales budgets, leveraging data-driven insights and fostering collaboration across key internal stakeholders.
- Work directly with the Demand Planning team to help align the sales forecast and support the Simplot Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Assist in developing and maintaining sales management tools, adoption of best practices, KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and support processes to ensure consistent assessment and assignment of priority customers and prospects, consistent with the priority segments.
- Understand and lead the customer journey and continually look for ways to optimize data, tools, and processes to deliver efficiencies and improve the execution of account teams.
- Provide oversight and support for the sales on seller territory analysis and collaborate on decisions that better suit the evolution of the business.
- Coordinate with respective marketing functions for the development of relevant marketing programs and initiatives for operators and distributors.
- Collaborate with other cross-functional support leads within Supply Chain and Customer Fulfilment.
Typical Education Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required, Master of Business Administration (MBA) desirable Relevant Experience 5+ years related experience and/or training.
