What Will You Do?
- Contribute in developing and implementing global supply chain management strategies
- Initiate RFQ after obtaining required approvals or MRP demands
- Identify and Develop vendors
- Maintain an accurate recordkeeping system and provide reports on various phases of activities
- Regularly communicate material issues that may impact Customer due dates with Customer Service, Project Managers and other team members.
- Monitor and manage stock materials/inventory
- Regularly attend team meetings to discuss project and order status and to identify and resolve issues that may impact the customer.
- Drive and implement recommendations enabling continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities
- Manage the supplier relationship: o Monitor performance o Ensure proper invoicing o Issue purchase orders, including revisions, and ensure fulfillment as contracted o Review pricing and back-order management Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

- Ability to work to high level of accuracy and efficiency within a fast-paced engineered to order manufacturing environment.
- Identify and develop vendors
- Experience in developing supply chain management strategies required
- Participate in developing and implementing global supply chain management strategies

- Strong understanding of contracts, contract requirements, and contract management required
- Knowledge of steel/metal production process and markets preferred
- Understanding of international business and international sourcing process preferred
