About this role
Job summary This is a great opportunity to build skills in mental health dietetics while supporting people with eating disorders to improve their health and wellbeing. You'll be part of Evolve, a supportive multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence-based outpatient care and a small day service. The service includes First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders (FREED), helping people access the right support early. Your work will make a real difference to recovery, confidence and long-term health.
Main duties of the job What you'll do:
Assess and support people with eating disorders using evidence-based dietetic approaches Work closely with colleagues across the multi-disciplinary team to plan and deliver care Support behaviour change through education and practical guidance Contribute to outpatient clinics and the day service programme Keep clear, accurate records and follow clinical standards What we're looking for: A registered Dietitian with an interest in mental health and eating disorders Understanding of supporting people with complex needs Ability to build trusting, compassionate relationships Willingness to learn and develop with regular supervision and training Good communication and team-working skills For further information, please contact Jessica Parkin - Operations Manager & Professional Lead at [email protected] or by telephone on 01482 247111 (Option 3, then Option 4).

Qualifications Essential
Degree in dietetics State registration dietetics registered with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Knowledge Essential
Sound clinical knowledge of dietetics including nutrition support An interest in Community dietetics Basic IT skills Able to use and risk assess weighing equipment safely Reflective Practice Behaviour change skills
Experience Essential
Significant demonstrable experience of clinical dietetic practice including nutrition support Managing personal dietetic caseload Developing practice of other dietitians/associate practitioners Participation in peer support and clinical supervision Contribute effectively to multi-disciplinary working
Desirable
Participation of training of others including students/health care professionals Clinical Audit
