About this role
- As a Senior IT System Specialist SAP, you will act as a subject matter expert in SAP Basis administration, ensuring the stability, performance and availability of our SAP landscape.
- You will manage and optimize SAP systems and databases while supporting upgrades, migrations and infrastructure initiatives.

- Provide expert SAP Basis support, including transports, patching and system upgrades.
- Administer and optimize SAP HANA and related database environments.
- Support SAP installations, migrations and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with SAP and IT Operations teams to ensure secure and highly available systems.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and external partners.
- Participate in planned weekend maintenance and rotating on-call support.
- More about you : 5+ years of strong hands-on SAP Basis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with SAP HANA, including administration, performance tuning and upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Windows Server and SUSE Linux environments.
- Experience with large-scale SAP implementations, migrations and upgrades.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Active Directory, networking and SAP Solution Manager.
- Strong troubleshooting and collaborative working skills.
- Fluent English.
- Nice to have SAP certification.
- Experience acting as a senior SAP Basis expert or deputy for SAP Basis topics.
