We are looking for a Male Driver Support Worker to efficiently support the male residents at the house. What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
This is permanent, full-time employment, 37.5 contracted hours a week, working between the hours of 7am and 10pm on shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.

78 Park Road provides a specialist residential service for all gender identities who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/ distress. Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems. As well as supporting individuals who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, we are specialists in working with additional complex needs

Qualifications Essential
Applicants should have a passion for supporting individuals with mental health issues, strong communication skills, and ideally experience within a care or similar supportive environment.
