About this role

Job summary

The successful candidate will work within the MDT to provide assessment and interventions for those referred to the service. A vital part of the role is the Triage function of the service, screening referrals and offering advice, guidance and signposting where necessary.

The candidate will be based within themultidisciplinary Mental Health Safeguarding (MASH) Hub which will be situated within Integrated Mental Health Services in Enfield and operate using a virtual multi-agency model in collaboration with (Centralised MASH).

Working jointly consultations with the MDT, as well as wider networks including GPs, interface services and the voluntary sector.

Main duties of the job

Triage; screening of referrals and other correspondence such as Safeguarding Alerts, Police Reports and enquiries from GP's, LBI Housing/Social Care and patient/carer emails. SAM Oversight of safeguarding referrals and cases.

- Interventions based on speciality of practice, including joint working with other C&I Services

- Engagement in service delivery and development; attendance to MDT meetings, supervision and other training opportunities.

-Completing thorough assessment and care planning alongside Dialog +

- Documenting assessments on EPR systems - including EMIS and Carenotes

- Engaging in supervision and supporting supervision of junior staff and students

- Maintaining mandatory training and engaging with other learning opportunities

Experience & Skills Essential

Experience of working within a community setting relating to mental health Experience of inter - agency working Case management and care planning skills Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Networking skills
