El Paso Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety-driven Local Residential Driver to join our growing team in El Paso, Texas.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a garbage truck on assigned residential routes to collect solid waste.
- Read route sheets and service customers assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluids, tires, and safety equipment.
- Perform physically demanding work, including loading and unloading, sometimes without a helper.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse.
- Dispose of collected waste at designated facilities.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement at minimum.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of truck components and the ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Waste industry experience is preferred but not required.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing over 50 pounds.
- Work around moving mechanical equipment while following required safety precautions.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including wet and humid conditions.
- Regular exposure to fumes, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
