Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy phlebotomy team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
2 x 20 hour positions - 5 weekday shifts (varying hours) 1 x position working at New Cross Hospital. 1 x position at Cannock Chase Hospital. Both positions working across OPD clinics and wards.
Phlebotomy skills, a current UK driving license and the use of a car are highly desirable for this role. You must be committed to delivering a high standard of service in line with our Trust values.
Phlebotomy duties include taking blood samples from patients, labelling tubes, and the storing of samples for Pathology.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible to work as part of a team in the Phlebotomy Department and will be expected to work in clinics and wards on the hospital site. They will be expected to respond positively to the changing demands of the service.
