Job summary
To work as part of our friendly team supporting the Practice, performing cleaning and housekeeping duties in clinical, non-clinical and public areas of the premises. This role is for 12.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
To clean in accordance with the standards, schedule and training provided
To use cleaning products and techniques in accordance with training and COSHH guidelines
To take correct precautions to minimise risk
To maintain accurate records
To attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required
To follow Infection Prevention and Control guidelines
Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
About us
The main Practice is located in Whitby and has a branch site in Robin Hoods Bay. We have around 13,500 patients.
Currently there are 3 partners supported by a team of several salaried GP's, Advanced Care Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers and Practice Nurses, HCA's, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, a dispensing team, Care Coordinators and a committed admin and management team.
We have been rated Good by CQC.
The practice is a very desirable place to work with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It is very important to the partners that this is maintained and developed.
There is a good social aspect to the team with several events throughout the year including a staff Christmas party.
