Job Purpose
- Your main responsibility as a Busser is to anticipate the needs of our guests and co-workers.
- It is vital that when in the dining room, your appearance always be crisp and clean!
- In fact, this will be important in many areas of your job.
- The Busser is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant in an efficient and friendly manner while providing exceptional guest service.
- It is important that the Busser has a full understanding of operational standards, policies and procedures and can effectively demonstrate them.
- The Busser must provide instant guest recognition and satisfaction, maintain excellent service standards, top-quality food and follow all Health Department guidelines and codes.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant
- Efficiently clearing and cleaning guest tables, chairs, and overall environment
- Replenish supplies as needed
- Assist servers with drink service and clearing plates as needed
- Providing a fantastic first impression and exceptional guest service
- Focusing on overall Guest Experience and ensures every guest receives a personalized experience that caters to their needs
- Ensuring all food and beverage is prepared to standard before served to guests
- Responsible to meet all Health Department and maintain standards
- Assist team members if needed
- Any and all other responsibilities given within the scope of the job description
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of bussing experience preferred
- Must demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside the workplace
- Ability to obtain and maintain food handler’s certification card
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must strive for 100% customer satisfaction
