Job summary We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Leeds Childrens Hospital clinical pharmacy team as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist within paediatrics.
There are two posts available, one permanent and one fixed term for 12 months.
Main duties of the job Based within the Leeds General Infirmary, the Leeds Childrens Hospital is one of the largest childrens hospitals in the UK and treats patients from across Yorkshire and the North of England as a secondary and tertiary referral centre. The vision for the hospital is to be the leading provider of healthcare for children and young people in the North of England, providing the highest quality of care and treatment as close to home as possible.
This rotational post will give you the opportunity to be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team working alongside advanced practitioners and national experts across a range of specialities such as neonates, renal, oncology, haematology, PICU, general/specialist medicine, surgery. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care alongside the safe and cost-effective use of medicines within paediatrics. You will provide training and supervision for Band 6 and pre-registration pharmacists and contribute to the training of medical and other multi-disciplinary staff.

Pharmacist Registrant of GPhC MPharm or equivalent Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) Member of a relevant Professional Development Body e.g. RPSGB, BOPA, NPPG etc
