Main duties of the job As a PCN General Practitioner at Operose Health, your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery. You will work closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan. Your role includes participating in clinical governance activities and contributing to quality health outcomes through audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework, ensuring that the practice meets CQC standards and other quality benchmarks. You will be involved in providing direct clinical care that incorporates consultation sessions, telephone triage, clinical administration, and other duties as prescribed in the job plan. Additionally, you are expected to maintain adherence to high personal and professional standards as set by the GMC, focusing on individual patient care as the top priority. Collaboration with the Practice Manager and the site clinical lead is essential to developing, delivering, and reviewing the surgery's action plan, covering aspects like patient list growth, satisfaction levels, quality of care, and cost management.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards. To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours). To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority. Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience. Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding. Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb. Package Description: How well support you:
Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs. Full indemnity cover. Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list, experience as a GP with MRCGP or equivalent, commitment to quality and patient-focused services, sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, and CQUINs, and ideally, familiarity with clinical systems like SystmOne or EMISweb.
