Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary focus will be to maintain high standards of cleanliness and laundry within the home. You will work as part of a team, ensuring hotel service standards are upheld by following the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry. Your responsibilities will include performing cleaning duties per worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements for different surfaces, and respecting residents' personal space and belongings. Ideal candidates will embody Avery's values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Essential qualifications include knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly in Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in public setting cleaning laundry, adaptability, and the ability to deliver high-quality housekeeping service with compassion are required. A DBS Disclosure check, provided by Avery Healthcare, is mandatory, along with proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
